HEART AND HANDS of Against the Grain Farm
Heart and Hands of Against the Grain Farm is a documentary photography project that chronicles the transformation of an old and defunct family farm into one that is vibrant and modern. The young couple now operating the farm employ science-based knowledge gleaned from an extensive background in regenerative practices; their effort promises to benefit the local community for generations to come.
The initial edition was printed as a handcrafted pamphlet book, the cover of which was buried in the compost pile of the farm for a month. This signed and numbered edition of 20 has been hardbound and contained in a handsewn zippered pouch.
